The Sapareva Bania village thermae complex Kotvata is one of the best places to enjoy warm healthy mineral water springs both in Summer and Winter. The complex is ideal for children and adults to relax by the pool with a beer. There is a warm indoor pool very nice for the winter and also outside pools which can be used both summer and winter time. The Thermae complex entrance fees vary between weekdays and holiday, age and family discounts, so they are not included. Generally we recommend week days as the pools are less busy and cheaper.
At 9:00 am in the morning our English speaking driver will pick you up from Serdika Meeting Point right in the heart of Sofia city. In about 2 hours you will reach your destination – Rila Monastery UNESCO Wolrd Heritage Site. You will have enough time to explore and learn for this beautiful Monastery from our English speaking guide or our audio guides in Spanish, Italian, German, Russian and English.
After you finish the visit (a snack or quick lunch is possible) you will go for another 1 hour ride to the Thermal complex for a relaxed afternoon by the pools, saunas and jacuzzis. You will be back in Sofia around 17:30-18:00 at latest, ready for your next night out in Sofia!
